Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (SBG) is a diversified television broadcasting company that owns, provides programming and operating services pursuant to local marketing agreements or provides sales services pursuant to outsourcing agreements to 62 television stations in 39 markets in the United States. The Company has a mid-size market focus. Its television station group is diverse in network affiliation with 20 stations affiliated with FOX, 19 with The WB, eight with ABC, six with UPN, four with NBC and three with CBS. Two stations are not affiliated with any network. SBG owns equity interests in G1440, Inc., an Internet consulting and development company. SBG also has an equity interest in and a strategic alliance with Acrodyne Communications, Inc., a manufacturer of transmitters and other television broadcast equipment.
