| Orzel Singleton established Singleton Roofing in 1969. Due to illness he relinquished control of the company to his son, Alvin J. Singleton in 1977. In 1986, Linda Singleton, Alvin's wife, left her profession in nursing to manage the office. The business was incorporated in 1989 as Alvin J. Singleton, Inc.
Currently their son Tad Kitchner and daughter Amy Singleton work for the company. Tad is a Superintendent and has been with the company since 1994. Amy joined in 2000 after graduating from FSU and works as the Controller, as well as managing the computer network.
