The Company - Templar was formed in 1998 as an association of artists, writers and programmers in New York City and London. The collective's mission was to establish an environment where each individual could freely pursue his or her creative goals, while providing outstanding design, content and technical development for its client-based work. The studio has gone on to produce a wide array of interactive projects, many of which have been featured in books, magazines and museums such as the Whitney and the American Museum of the Moving Image. After years of creating successful games for its clients, Templar is currently developing its own line of PC-based video games.
