Fred Parnon, has spent over twenty-five years focusing on the
automation of legal expertise. Prior to founding Jnana, Fred was a litigation partner in
the firm of Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith, where he served as Chairman of the
firm’s Technology Committee. Fred was also a litigation partner in the New York office
of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart. Fred graduated from Princeton University and from Yale
Law School.
Jnana’s co-founder and VP of Professional Services, Chris Grau, has spent over twenty
years in the field of expert system design and development. Prior to joining Jnana,
Chris was East Coast Regional Consulting Manager for Inference Corporation, a leading
developer of knowledge-based software applications. For the prior seven years at
Inference, Chris designed complex commercial expert systems for customers including
American Airlines, the United States Air Force and the National Emergency Airborne
