Gary Gummig has helped lead the technology revolution within the insurance industry that championed the automation of processes involving carriers and state regulatory bodies. As vice president of e-Government, Mr. Gummig interacts extensively with state insurance bodies in developing new products and extending the capabilities of current Sircon offerings.
Mr. Gummig has more than 18 years of experience in information technology operations relating to government compliance. Before joining Sircon in 2002, Mr. Gummig was chief information officer with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in Kansas City, Mo. He served as director of the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), a non-profit arm of the NAIC. With NIPR, Mr. Gummig established national standards for the insurance industry for regulatory reporting. He played a key role in development of the Producer
