Dr. Jie Zhang received his Ph.D. in Geophysics from
MIT. He was a EPA STAR Fellow in 1995 and 1996.
He previously worked for MIT, Shell, USGS, and Blackhawk
Geometrics. Dr. Jie Zhang founded GeoTomo in 1998. His research interests
include seismic raytracing, tomography, and migration,
and he has over 30 publications in these areas.
Dr. Zhang has been leading the software design efforts
at GeoTomo and managing the worldwide marketing plans.
