Jim Payne, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Jim Payne joined Sonitrol Pacific in 1985 and guides the company’s marketing and security consulting standards. Before his promotion to Vice President, Jim worked as a Security Consultant, Portland Sales Manager and Portland General Manager. He played a principle role in opening Sonitrol Pacific Seattle in 2000 and relocated his family to the Puget Sound area in 2006.
Jim married his wife Rachael in 1983 and they have two sons. One son is pursuing a business degree at the University of Oregon and the other is a junior at Jackson High School in Everett, Washington.
Jim is a Past President of the Portland Metropolitan Business Association and Past President of Portland Sales & Marketing Executives. Jim is a past Treasurer of the Sonitrol National Dealers Association (SNDA) and currently serves on various SNDA committees. He is a recipient of the SNDA “World Class Award” for contrib
