Karla has combined her penchant for design with her passion for publishing by building more than 30 custom communication programs. As president, she marries her eye for compelling design with a proven ability to turn creative ideas into sound business strategy. The results are programs that attract diverse audiences and achieve measurable results.
Before starting Tendo, Karla ran the U.S. operation of a London-based custom publishing firm where she directed marketing communications strategy and content programs for Apple, Isuzu, and Microsoft. Prior to her custom publishing career, Karla served as publisher of several leading technology industry publications, including Dr. Dobb's Journal and PC Magazine demographic editions. In addition, she played a leading role in developing customized advertorial programs designed to support new product launches for industry leaders such as IBM.
