Maurice Buchbinder M.D. Dr. Buchbinder is Chief Medical Officer of BTI. He is a pioneer in the field of interventional cardiology and has participated extensively in the development and clinical evaluation of new cardiovascular technologies for over twenty years. In his clinical practice, Dr. Buchbinder served as Director of the Interventional Cardiology Department at Sharp Memorial Hospital and Co-Director Interventional Cardiology at Scripps Memorial Hospital. While in full-time clinical practice, Dr. Buchbinder founded several successful medical ventures in interventional cardiology. Some of these ventures were acquired by major medical device manufacturers including Medtronic, Boston Scientific and Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Buchbinder received his medical degree from the McGill University where he also completed his internship in Internal Medicine. Dr. Buchbinder completed his residency specializing in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Hospital.
