Mike Ameli M.B.A. Vice President of Manufacturing Mr. Ameli has more than 20 years of experience in the design, development and manufacturing of medical devices and equipment. Prior to joining ALSIUS, he held senior engineering and operations management positions with several divisions of Medtronic Corporation, Olympus America, Inc., Baxter International, Inc. and American Hospital Supply Corporation. Mr. Ameli has established and managed numerous operations in the United States and overseas. These operations involved the manufacture of cardiovascular, interventional vascular, urological, endo-therapy and other medical devices and equipment. Mr. Ameli has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a master's degree in business administration from California State University, Long Beach.
