With a background in the information technology field dating back to 1966, D. Richard Creson founded Meridian Technology Group in 1990. As the company's president, he is the driving force behind its uncompromised growth and success over the years. Richard began his career at the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, then one of the largest data processing facilities in the world. After working at Ford, he then served in information technology-related positions for various companies until earning his Bachelor of Business Administration / Accounting Degree from the University of South Florida in 1975. From that point forward, Richard's focus broadened to include finance and accounting. After college, Richard returned to the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters where he served as systems audit manager from 1975 to 1980. Then in 1980, Richard moved to Portland, Oregon, where he was the manager of systems audit for Evans Products Company
