Rick Carlund joined RACOM in July 1996. Rick has extensive electronics training from Wadena Technical College and Glendale College. From August 1986 until July 1996, Rick was an engineering technician with the Central Arizona Water Conservation District in Phoenix . He was key to the design, engineering and maintenance of the CAWCD wireless digital communication network.
Rick brings his extensive EDACS expertise to RACOM where he is instrumental in engineering RACOM's multistate communications system. Rick currently oversees RACOM's Network Technologies group including digital communications, computer networking and RF communications systems.
Rick is a 10 year member of EUTRA (EDACS Utility Trunked Radio Association) user's group, where he currently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer and Improvement Opportunity Chairperson. He is also a member of PSUG (Public Safety Users Group), supporting police
