Mr. Smith founded Comark Communications, Inc., a company engaged in the manufacture of high power transmitters for UHF television stations, and was an officer and director of Comark until 1986. He also was a principal in other television stations prior to serving as a General Manager of WPMY (formerly WCWB-TV) from 1984 until 1986. Prior to that, he was VP Planning, Advertising for Rainbow Media’s regional sports channels. From 1985 to 1997, he was with Rainbow’s PRISM/SportsChannel Philadelphia, holding multiple positions, eventually managing that business unit. Mr. Malandra is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Widener University in Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in Business Administration focused in Media Strategy from Manchester Business School in Manchester, England.
