Roy Newman, Founder - Co-Owner
Roy began his career in the real estate/lending industry in 1964, working nine
years in real estate brokerage in Santa Clara County, California. In 1973, Roy
moved to the Sacramento Valley and became involved the mortgage banking business.
While working in the mortgage industry, Roy observed a void in available
training in the areas of loan origination and processing, and began working
to fill that need.
Since 1980, Roy personally, has trained over 15,000 loan officers and loan
processors on the fundamentals of mortgage finance.
The company Roy founded, LoanTrainer.com (formerly Mortgage Training Services)
has provided training to over 150,000 mortgage personnel and real estate agents
across the United States, becoming the nation's leading mortgage-training company.
