Previously, Sam was vice president of the New Media Group at DoubleClick, Inc. He also served as the director of customer development at Infobase/Acxiom for five years where he was instrumental in developing some of the first large databases for top publishers including Time, Inc. and Condé Nast.
Sam began his career in the circulation department of the Harvard Business Review, and he eventually held the title of Publisher at Art and Auction Magazine. From 1985 to 1990 he took a sabbatical from publishing to launch a successful restaurant, Mary Dugan's Dependable Home Cooking, in New Milford, Conn.
