In response, Mediaspace recently launched its onLine:onPage division that provides advertising through both print and interactive media. The (print) circulation decline of newspapers is moving online and that audience is increasing, Kerr said. But people are always going to want print. Newspapers do better than any other medium. National brands need to drive business at a local level. Mediaspace’s clients include national and regional companies. The company was founded in 1999 and has 50 employees. It moved into its current location at 101 Merritt 7 in January of 2000. It has grown 25 percent over the last four years and has offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Minneapolis. Last year we invested heavily in sales, Kerr said. Now we’re adding support. It has a reach of more than 4,500 newspapers
