Sharon Burton began her transportation
career as a traffic manager for a chemical company based in Atlanta. In 1978
she joined ABF Freight Systems, the nation’s fifth largest Volume Partial Shipment
carrier as a sales executive. Sharon was responsible for the opening of the
largest terminal in the southeast, where she served as Terminal Manager for
four years. In January of 1989, she joined Robart Transportation as Executive
Vice President. Sharon now serves as CEO and President of both Robart Transportation,
Inc. and The RL Services Group, LLC.
