William S. Hadley, Co-Founder & Advisor
William S. Hadley is a founder of Carnegie Learning, and formerly served as the Chief Academic Officer and Vice President of Educational Services. Mr. Hadley is a widely respected mathematics educator who, in his 30 years as a teacher, participated in many efforts related to the development of the student-achievement standards adopted by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). He was a teacher, author and teacher trainer at the Carnegie Mellon PACT Center for nine years, as well as a consultant to the National Center on Education and Economy. He has received numerous awards, including the Presidential Award for Mathematics Teaching in Pennsylvania. Mr. Hadley's extensive experience in training educations to teach mathematics includes the creation of a series of professional development courses at Carnegie Learning.
