William H. Miller serves as vice president of Information Services and chief information officer for Harris Corporation. Mr. Miller is responsible for IT architecture, application development and support, global computing and network operations, employee collaboration, worldwide telecommunications, and enterprise security.
Mr. Miller joined Harris in 1985 as a research engineer with the company's former Semiconductor business. Since then he has held engineering and management positions of increasing responsibility. He served as director of Harris' Corporate Information Technology Advisory Staff through 1997. Mr. Miller was promoted to vice president of Corporate Information Management in 1998 and was selected to lead the company's worldwide IT functions in 1999.
