Study: Save 1.5 hours a day

You want more time during your day… So do we! If you are a sales pro and any professional that is in charge of getting new customers we know that you spend A LOT of time researching prospects, finding contacts, deciphering email formats, etc. But how much time do you really spend on sales research? We decided to do a survey of our current clients to find out how much time they currently spend on sales research and how much time they previously used to spend before joining Lead411. Here are the findings…

#1. On Average our customers USED to spend 2 hours & 56 minutes a day on sales research.

While that is definitely a strong amount of time savings our goal @ Lead411 is to make YOUR research time even shorter. The new data/features coming over the next few months should really help. Lead411 introduces Unlimited Salesforce Sync

We just added an awesome new feature for Salesforce users. Now you can easily push any Lead411 contact directly to your Salesforce CRM. You will find this button all over the site… within company profiles, people profiles and within your prospect lists.

For the time being we are making this feature unlimited for all SB/Enterprise customers. Yes, unlimited. This may change in the future, but for now we are testing out demand. Enjoy!!

BuiltWith launches Datanyze competitor

Builtwith has sort of been the industry standard for providing data about websites and their technologies. The Australian company has been around since 2007 according to Crunchbase. They consistently crawl the web to see which companies and websites use specific technologies. For example, you might want to know which companies use Marketo or Hubspot.

Recently, Datanyze launched. They focused not just on crawling the www for technologies, but crawling them every single day. This is helpful for sales people because you can find out which companies are testing out your competitors’ products and then offer your services as well. For example, let’s say you are a lesser known marketing automation SaaS like LoopFuse. Wouldn’t it be interesting for you to see which companies are testing out the Marketo solution?

Today, Builtwith launched their version of this solution with the featured called “Builtwith Alerts” – You can see more information . We recently added a new feature to our Enterprise solution that allows users to select specific technologies when creating/exporting our company and people lists. So you not only get to find out which websites are using what, but you also get to download specific executives.

Lead411 is LIVE!!

LIVEWe are super excited to announce that the new Lead411 is officially live. After 12 months of back breaking work you can finally see our new creation. Actually the new www site has been up since mid-December, but we didn’t want to make an official announcement until certain bugs had been fixed. Here is what you will find.





Simple Searching

Click on our filter button from any page on our site and you will see all the search options. Notice that we have new search paramaters such as; zip code specific, mile radius searching, sic codes and IT Intelligence. We will be doing a full blog post about our new IT Intelligence data and features later this week.




Improved Daily Lead Filtering

If you click on the image to your left you will see our new configuration. Notice that it is much more granular. Be sure to note that you can also track any company regardless of your territory with the “My Tracked Companies” form at the bottom of the page. You can see more here.





More Industry Information
Not only did we add SIC codes to our database we have also repopulated many of our company’s industries. If you recall many of our industries previously were flagged as “Other” as we didn’t have their specific information. This is has now changed. This will help your daily lead alerts as well as general prospect building.

Subscription Changes
We changed our subscriptions. Our previous Core/Plus subscriptions have been converted to SB100 subscriptions. This subscription gives you exactly the same amount of data as Core/Plus, but also gives you an extra 100 exports/downloads a month. If you have been with us since the early 2000′s… don’t worry.. Your monthly fee has not changed. The enterprise subscription replaces the Pro subscription. You still have access to our entire database and have unlimited downloads.

More Contacts
As some of you already know, we will be launching an additional 1M contacts within the next 4 weeks. These are not yet out, but will be very soon.

GainSpan Secures $19M in 4th Round of Funding

GainSpan is in for a positive second half of the year 2013 as they have recently gained a total of $19 million in their fourth round of funding. This Series D round was participated in by two new investors: Zebra Technologies Corporation and Oplink Communications, Inc.

The company’s existing investors, which includes Sigma Partners, Opus Capital, New Venture Partners, and Camp Ventures also participated in this round.
