Builtwith has sort of been the industry standard for providing data about websites and their technologies. The Australian company has been around since 2007 according to Crunchbase. They consistently crawl the web to see which companies and websites use specific technologies. For example, you might want to know which companies use Marketo or Hubspot.
Recently, Datanyze launched. They focused not just on crawling the www for technologies, but crawling them every single day. This is helpful for sales people because you can find out which companies are testing out your competitors’ products and then offer your services as well. For example, let’s say you are a lesser known marketing automation SaaS like LoopFuse. Wouldn’t it be interesting for you to see which companies are testing out the Marketo solution?
Today, Builtwith launched their version of this solution with the featured called “Builtwith Alerts” – You can see more information . We recently added a new feature to our Enterprise solution that allows users to select specific technologies when creating/exporting our company and people lists. So you not only get to find out which websites are using what, but you also get to download specific executives.
Glam Media, Inc. recently welcomed Jill Byron as the company’s new SVP Marketing. She was most recently with CBS Interactive, where she served as their VP of Marketing. We are super excited to announce that the new Lead411 is officially live. After 12 months of back breaking work you can finally see our new creation. Actually the new www site has been up since mid-December, but we didn’t want to make an official announcement until certain bugs had been fixed. Here is what you will find.
We previously had 6 different areas in order for people to search… if you can believe that! Now we have one. Click on our filter button from any page on our site and you will see all the search options. Notice that we have new search paramaters such as; zip code specific, mile radius searching, sic codes and IT Intelligence. We will be doing a full blog post about our new IT Intelligence data and features later this week.
Improved Daily Lead Filtering
Many customers love to customize their daily lead alerts. We got lots of requests to improve our filtering. If you click on the image to your left you will see our new configuration. Notice that it is much more granular. Be sure to note that you can also track any company regardless of your territory with the “My Tracked Companies” form at the bottom of the page. More Industry Information
Not only did we add SIC codes to our database we have also repopulated many of our company’s industries. If you recall many of our industries previously were flagged as “Other” as we didn’t have their specific information. This is has now changed. This will help your daily lead alerts as well as general prospect building.
We changed our subscriptions. Our previous Core/Plus subscriptions have been converted to SB100 subscriptions. This subscription gives you exactly the same amount of data as Core/Plus, but also gives you an extra 100 exports/downloads a month. If you have been with us since the early 2000′s… don’t worry.. Your monthly fee has not changed. The enterprise subscription replaces the Pro subscription. You still have access to our entire database and have unlimited downloads.
As some of you already know, we will be launching an additional 1M contacts within the next 4 weeks. These are not yet out, but will be very soon.
