| Founded in 1959 with a $1,000 loan and a dream from R.D. Moseley, Bulldog Hiway Express began with a 1954 Chevrolet truck with a twelve foot van body. Today the growing company consists of over 200 late model tractors and 350 trailers. As containerization began, Bulldog was there from the start, moving the first container to come off a vessel in the Port of Charleston. Today Bulldog Hiway Express is the largest single carrier in the area. As deregulation opened up lanes across the country, Bulldog took advantage of the situation and increased its territory and capabilities while maintaining a level of quality to the customer. We continue our financially strong growth while performing as a family company that takes great care and consideration of its employees. |
