| Coherex Medical was founded with the goal of developing a PFO closure device that is safe, effective, and easy to use. The Company decided that since their product would be used exclusively by interventional cardiologists, the ideal device would be similar in its look and feel to devices commonly used in that specialty. In addition, they believed that the complete system should incorporate redundant closure mechanisms in order to maximize the probability of long term success. |
