| On May 4, 1912 Bank of Eureka Springs was issued a corporate certificate from the Office of the Secretary of State. The original banking location was at 75 Spring Street in the former Clark and Klock Building. Bank of Eureka Springs has survived several panics, the Great Depression and two World wars. In 1946 it moved to 40 Spring Street. At that time, it was the only Bank remaining in Eureka, out of a half dozen or more started since the town’s founding in 1879 and today it is still the only home owned, home operated, locally chartered bank in Eureka Springs. |
