| DocuSys, a digital medical solutions company, designs and markets the first Anesthesia Information System to merge clinical information with intravenous medication management. The system incorporates an intravenous drug monitor, DocuJect®, that uses barcode scanning and digital imaging to verify, track, and record drug delivery data in real time without manual input. The DocuSys information system, DocuSafe ®, merges clinical record keeping with drug billing and ICD-9 coding and warns of adverse drug events (ADEs) prior to drug administration. DocuRx(tm), the system's pharmacy workstation, provides a closed loop audit trail for bar-coded unit-dose medications, including narcotics, and incorporates a formulary database and reporting system that facilitates drug cost savings. DocuView(tm), a web-based system, serves as the entry point for the patient's history and physical and documents the patient's flow and treatments through the perioperative system, enabling real time throughput analysis and prophylactic antibiotic treatment tracking.
