Emulation Technology is the world leader in the adapter and test accessory market, representing the industry's largest provider. The company introduced its first product, the "Bug-Katcher," in 1983, and its first complete product catalog appeared in 1987. The company was the first to introduce a 0.3 millimeter test product, the MicroGripper™, in 1996. Emulation Technology was also the first company to introduce pin grid array (PGA), plastic quad flat (PQFP) and ball grid array (BGA) package adapter support for engineers involved in high-level hardware and software design.
