The Company is a supplier of both residential wire for interior electrical wiring in homes, apartments and manufactured housing, and commercial wire for electrical distribution in commercial and industrial buildings. The principal customers for Encore's wire are wholesale electrical distributors that serve both the residential and commercial wire markets. The Company offers a residential wire product line that consists primarily of NM (non-metallic) cable and UF (underground feeder) cable. Encore's commercial product line consists primarily of THHN (thermoplastic high-heat-resistant nylon coated) commercial wire. In addition, the Company manufactures other types of commercial wire products. Its NM, UF and THHN cable are all manufactured with copper as the conductor. |
