Endavo Media and Communications, Inc. was incorporated in December 1999, under the name of CeriStar, Inc., to provide integrated broadband services through fiber-based IP (Internet Protocol) networks. CeriStar's products and services were in the development stage throughout 2001 and most of 2002 with commercial rollout commencing in late 2002. In September 2002, to support expansion and funding plans, CeriStar became publicly traded through merger with a publicly company. From 2002 to mid-2004 the company’s principal business was to provide residential and enterprise subscribers with integrated voice, video and data communications services over Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) infrastructure. Services offered included basic IP telephony (VoIP), broadband Internet connectivity, broadcast TV and enhanced services, such as video-on-demand.
With shareholder approval, the company officially changed its name in September 2004 and began operating as Endavo Media and Communications, Inc. The name was selected to better represent the company’s commitment to become an industry leader in enabling the delivery of integrated digital products, services and content to partners and consumers around the United States. Today, Endavo continues to serve residential customers over broadband networks and is developing an "open" network architecture that delivers of all forms of digital entertainment and communications services. Endavo brings together the technologies and partnerships required to manage a nationwide network end-to-end, to deliver products cost effectively over the network and to provide a fully integrated and "trusted" system that guarantees quality of service and accountability. The Endavo Ecosystem is the catalyst that drives content/application providers and consumers into a true value-based relationship.
