We are a woman-owned business that originated in 1982. While the focus of our early work for the U. S. Forest Service in Northern California was on archaeological investigations, the firm has grown into a full service organization presently offering expertise in many different environmental areas.PAR’s Environmental Planning Department works primarily on transportation and infrastructure improvement projects in California, assisting clients with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance.We understand the many different complex regulations and procedures that must be followed in gaining environmental clearance and apply this experience and knowledge when preparing technical study reports and environmental documents. PAR’s Cultural Resources Department works extensively across the State and offers services in historic preservation, architectural history and evaluation, historical and prehistoric archaeology, and full Section 106 and CEQA compliance including preparation of Programmatic Agreements, Data Recovery Plans and Memorandum of Agreements
