| Pope Resources, L.P. sells logs and standard timber, as well as single-family homes, finished lots and undeveloped acres. The Company operates in three primary business segments: fee timber, timberland management and consulting and real estate. Fee timber operations consist of the growing and harvesting of timber from Pope's tree farms. Timberland management and consulting encompasses providing timberland management and forestry consulting services to third-party owners of timberlands and is conducted primarily through the Company's wholly owned indirect subsidiary, Olympic Resource Management LLC (ORMLLC). Real estate operations consist of efforts to enhance the value of Pope's real estate development properties located in Port Gamble, Bremerton, Gig Harbor, Kingston, Hansville and Everett, Washington. |
