RatePoint was created to promote online and offline business quality while enhancing the relationship between businesses and consumers. Launched in September of 2006 by the founders of GeoTrust, with funding from Prism VentureWorks and .406 Ventures, RatePoint has also developed several technology platforms including an online ratings service, and an extension of that program for Second Life.
The RatePoint Consumer Approval Program is the product of what we have learned about the needs of businesses and consumers, the technology and platforms we’ve previously developed, the needs of businesses and consumers, and our collective experiences.
