| Today, SEFCU ranks as the largest credit union in the Capital Region—and is among the 70 largest in the country. We serve members in the Capital Region, Binghamton, Syracuse, and Buffalo with 28 branches, over 75 proprietary ATMs, and a staff of more than 500. Demonstrating the credit union philosophy of "people helping people," our employees participate in countless community fundraising activities to benefit children and those in need. We have established branches in such financially underserved neighborhoods as Albany's Arbor Hill and Schenectady's Hamilton Hill and recently received approval to expand our underserved initiatives to Montgomery and Erie Counties.
