Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Sam graduated from California State University at Northridge in 1974. He started his career in public accounting with a small accounting firm in San Fernando. Having obtained his C.P.A. certificate in 1977, Sam started his own practice three years later. Today, his professional practice continues to specialize on small to medium-sized businesses including personal income tax returns.
