| The Aliant Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative formed in 1936. We serve the employees and retirees of the ALLTEL-Nebraska area, TELEC Consulting Resources, Inc., Region V Systems, and Raasch Appraisal, as well as members of their families. The Credit Union provides our members a convenient, economical way to borrow money at low interest rates and to save money at above market interest rates.
Credit Unions are unique financial institutions. We do not have customers, we have Members and our members collectively own the Credit Union. Regardless of the size of the account, each member has one vote with which they elect, from among themselves, a Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. Our members, through this Board and Committee, set policy and direction for the Credit union.
