| Veeam Software offers innovative, practical solutions to help IT professionals better manage virtual servers. Today the company focuses on managing VMware servers, but as market requirements grow, Veeam will support additional virtualization environments.
The company is best known for its FastSCP product, which has been embraced by pioneers in the virtualization community, and additional products include Veeam Reporter, an automated way to discover and document VMware environments; and Veeam Configurator, providing GUI-based centralized control over ESX settings and subsystems. More new products will be unveiled throughout 2007 and 2008.
Veeam Software is an international company with U.S. headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio and R&D headquarters in St. Petersburg, Russia. The company was founded in 2006 by Ratmir Timashev and Andrei Baronov, the team behind Aelita Software, well known for its award-winning Windows Server management solutions. Aelita was acquired by Quest Software in 2004, and Timashev and Baronov turned their attention to newer, emerging technologies.
